# How do I change a static IP?

Within **30 minutes** of purchase you can change the IP yourself in the dashboard, once. Each static IP also has **one free manual change** handled by support — you may switch countries or request a specific IP. After that, no further changes are possible, and a lower risk score on the new IP cannot be guaranteed.

* If a region has only one IP range, a change will stay within that range.
* Trial IPs cannot be changed.
* If an IP stops working because a range is being upgraded, we will replace it proactively.
