# How do I complete KYC verification, and how long does the review take?

Go to Dashboard → [**Account Settings**](https://dashboard.thordata.com/account-settings) → [**Account Verification**](https://dashboard.thordata.com/account-settings/kyc-method). Business customers select **Business Verification**; individual users select **Individual Verification**. Review is usually completed within 5 minutes.

KYC is required before purchasing static ISP proxies, and also before requesting a domain unblock, redeeming a CD key, or activating a larger trial.

**Common reasons a review is rejected:**

* The name and address on your proof of address must match your ID document exactly.
* Documents must be clear and complete. A national ID plus a selfie plus a credit card is not a substitute for proof of address. If your ID does not show your current address, add a utility bill (water or electricity) in your own name; bills in languages other than English are accepted.
* There is a daily limit on submission attempts. If you reach it, contact support to have it reset, or try a different account.
* If you were already verified but are asked to verify again, send us your account so we can check.
