# What is the bandwidth of static ISP proxies?

Static ISP proxies default to **5 Mbps with a maximum of about 12 Mbps**, and bandwidth cannot be upgraded. Measured results within 14 Mbps are normal. Actual speed also depends on your local network; if our test shows a normal speed, the IP itself is working as expected.

For high-bandwidth scenarios such as live streaming or continuous large downloads, static ISP is not recommended — please test with a trial IP first. If you need sustained high bandwidth, consider an Unlimited residential plan (billed by bandwidth, configurable).
