# What should we do if the IP address origin is inconsistent?

IP geolocation is verified against **ipinfo.io**. Different platforms use different data sources, so differing results are normal.

* Risk scores from third-party platforms (Scamalytics, ping0.cc and similar) are for reference only and are not used as a service standard.
* Some IPs are flagged as Hosting by third parties because traffic passes through a forwarding server. This does not mean the IP is a datacenter IP.
* For workloads with stricter quality requirements, choose IPs marked native. They typically pass more often, although no proxy can guarantee remaining undetected.
* Static ISP proxies are fixed, non-rotating IPs. They are not the same as home-broadband residential IPs, and cannot be assigned by ASN or carrier.

We guarantee that an IP connects successfully and matches the country you purchased. We recommend testing with a trial IP on your target site before buying. If ipinfo.io also shows an incorrect location, you can request an IP change.
