# How are ISP proxies different from residential proxies?

ISP proxies are billed by IP count, keep the same IP for long sessions, and offer stronger speed and stability. Residential proxies are usually traffic-based and better for high IP diversity and broader geo coverage. Choose ISP proxies for consistent identity; choose residential proxies for large-scale IP rotation.
