# How much do Thordata's multimodal datasets cost?

Pricing depends on modality, scale, and the level of customization required — most catalog datasets are priced per unit (per hour, per item, or per thousand records), free samples are available for many datasets, and fully custom collections are quoted individually.

There is no one-size-fits-all price for training data. A standard metadata dataset of several thousand records costs far less than a bespoke 10,000-hour video collection with annotation. As a rule of thumb: the rarer the language or scenario, the higher the per-unit cost; the larger the volume, the lower the unit price.
